It's difficult for Australia to achieve unprecedented feats.

The top summits have already been conquered.

This is the squad that has secured seven Cricket World Cups, plus six more T20 titles, and previously enjoyed over three years without defeat in 50-over cricket.

The alternative records, those for the record chasers, are what's still available for a team that has accomplished all there is.

That it took up to Sunday's victory by three wickets over India for them to complete their first ODI chase over 300, regaining their record for the largest in the women's 50-over format, is, honestly, a testament to the bowling attack that have sported the yellow jersey over the last half-century.

It is hard for their batsmen to possess a record if never given the possibility.

By the time she was dismissed Australia required another 66 at one run per ball - an unconquered height now needing a comfortable finish.

"Chasing 330 runs is unfamiliar ground so I am glad we have the confidence to accomplish that now," stated Healy further.

"Preferably we shouldn't have to do it again but, if we do, we believe we can do it."

Those words will be the ultimate thing rival teams at this World Cup need to hear.

Over the past five days a feeling they will succeed regardless of circumstances has grown stronger - this success following win against Pakistan by 107-run victory despite being 76-7 at one point.

Subsequently Australia meet Bangladesh before an encounter with longtime competitors England in Indore in 10 days, by which point a semi-final berth may well be secure.
